About Me:
About me... Such an empty question, or loaded question, depending on your perspective. In answer, I am layer upon layer of interests and questions. Who I am is expressed by seeking the answer to two big questions. Who am I and Why am I here.
On the surface, I have all the standard interests, of which you'll find a little more detail below, and underneath, everything is about spirit. I'm psychic, still training in the areas of channeling and spirit guides. I've been given the gift of tarot reading, and love reading for other people as well as myself. I have acquaintances, you know, co-workers, neighbors, and people around town. I have a handful of really close friends I always refer to as family. These are people that have been in my life for many years. People that somehow find value in me. They see something special that neither I nor they can define. Usually it comes down to my spirit. I'm a very free spirit. I love wholly and fully all those who I consider family. My love is fully unconditional and has no limits. While my physical appearance is fifty-something and rotund, I see myself as much younger and more beautiful. I'm sensual by nature. Kind of a hippie at heart, I guess. Free love, but not with just anyone. Only with those I truly love and connect with at a very deep level. I am a writer and avid reader. I read everything from News Magazines, to Self-Help Books, to Non-Fiction, Technical Manuals, and Fiction of all Kinds. I don't generally remember trivia, so have a hard time discussing details in areas such as history and politics. I do, however, usually see the big picture very clearly. I have a romantic soul, love candle light, alternative rock, mellow electronica dance music, and comfortable surroundings. I like a room that has space to move around in, and allows me to express myself through art and objects. I love kissing. I believe in life after death, and contact through the veil.
Music:
My tastes are eclectic. I generally like everything. My limits usually stop at urban rap, although I really like Eminem. My favorite style of music allows me to feel sensual and romantic, but varies based on my mood. Right now, I'm listening to XM Chill on Satellite Radio. In the Temple, Bombay Sapphire, Album: New World Groove 02. I love celtic music, especially Gaelic Music. My favorite, so far, in that genre would be Clannath (Phonetic spelling, the Gaelic alpha characters not being available here) My favorite song on that album is "I Will Find You".
Movies:
Oh, well, tell me when to stop.... On Golden Pond, Practical Magic, Pirates of the Carribean (all of them), anything with The Rock or Vin Diesel, Better Than Chocolate, Chocolat, Prancer, It's a Wonderful Life, White Christmas, Beaches, YaYa Sisterhood, Fried Green Tomatoes, The Stand, Conspiracy Theory, X-Men (yes, all of them), The Pursuit of Happyness, . . .
TV:
My tastes here are a little more limited. Dexter, Medium, Saving Grace, The L Word, Criminal Minds, The View, The Today Show, Any Star Trek, The X Files. I'm sure there are a few others.
Books:
Whatever is written well. Any Genre.
Likes:
Feeling comfortable and sexy. Honesty.
Dislikes:
Meanness, Selfishness, Lies.
Hobbies:
Photography and Coin Collecting. Sometimes modeling (action figures) and drawing.
